  Automated Email Verification

Verify your incoming signed emails and/or attachments on the server

You can now automatically have your signed emails and/or attachments verified by a trusted server as they come into your mail server.

Our Secure eMail Server (SES) can verify standard S/MIME signatures and even signed attachments which were signed using standard PDF, XML or PKCS#7 signatures. Verification of long-term signatures with embedded timestamps and revocation information is also supported.

A flexible filter is provided based on specific key words, allowing you to define which signed emails or attachments get verified on the server. As the signing is done on the server, the benefit is that there is no need to educate users on how to verify and trust emails. High-level results on whether the email can be trusted can be included in the body of the email, or as an attachment. Emails with failed signatures can be configured to go to an administrator. You can even configure to archive signed and trusted emails as long-term evidence.

The following demo provides a basic example of automatically verifying a signed PDF attachment to an email. Simply fill in the form, attach a signed PDF and before you know it you will receive an email from info@globaltrustfinder.com which will be included your signed PDF plus the verification results. Ensure the PDF is not encrypted and indeed signed!

Fill in the following form to receive an automated signed email from us:
Your email address: (ensure its correct as we will send email to this address!)

File Path:

Notes
On our ADSS Server we have registered a range of Trust Authorities, you can see the complete list here. Your signed PDF will only be trusted if it was signed using a certificate issued by one of these Trust authorities.
In this demo we verify only signed PDF attachments. The ADSS Server is capable of verifynig S/MIME signatures on the email itself, or signed XML and PKCS#7/CMS attachments.
The ADSS Server verifies the signer’s credential revocation status using either CRLs or OCSP with the back-end Trust Authorities. A range of verification evidence can be provided back to the SES and ultimately on to the reciepient.
Using SES you can define the complete workflow for your email, i.e. Which emails get verified (bsaed on keywords) and at which stage and what to with the results (e.g. Attach in email, add to email body or archive on server). You also have full control of what to do with emails which fail verification for whatever reason (send these emails to administrator with warning report, block these emails or send results to original receipient).
In case you are uploading your own file, in this demo we restrict the file size to 500KB and documents having 50 pages or less. Please also ensure the PDF is not encrypted and indeed signed using one of the ADSS Server registered Trust Authorities.
The ADSS server can support an unlimited number of Trust Authorities and store many cryptographic keys in a database or Hardware Security Module (HSM).
