See how simple it is to sign PDF documents

Server-side signing using unique user keys

This demo allows you to register for a unique signing key on the server and subsequently you can use this to sign a PDF document on the server. Use the above tabs to create other types of signatures on different document types.

Note all aspects of the signature appearance on the PDF document (e.g. company logo, hand-signature image, etc.) and the position of the signature on the page are configurable in the signing API, we only show a few basic options here.

Step 1: Login

Notes
Server-side signing uses a very flexible Signing API to create exactly the type of signatures you need from your applications. All the hassle of creating signatures, managing keys and ensuring highest levels of security is removed. Automated signing from an application, i.e. in unattended mode, is also easily achieved.
We have pre-selected a signature position which signs the PDF in the centre of the page or at the top of the page depending on the document source. When signing documents within your business application you can position signatures anywhere on the page by either providing the X/Y co-ordinates in the signing request or pre-configuring these co-ordinates on the server.to see some examples of the types of signature appearances that can be created. You can also sign specific page numbers (e.g. Last page) or multiple pages in one go.
If you are using your own PDF file – note that we restrict the file size to a maximum of 1024KB and/or 50 pages.
ADSS Server can support an unlimited number of users. It stores its cryptographic keys protected within a private database or within a suitable Hardware Security Module (HSM).
In this demo we authenticate the signer using just a userID and password, however the business application could use multiple user authentication options. Ascertia supports secure OTP based authentication using GrIDsure, see the GrIDsure signing demo here.
