Zero Footprint Client-side Signing using GoSign Standard

This demo allows you to sign a PDF document using a standard browser and locally-held signing keys (e.g. on a smartcard or Windows Keystore). If you currently don’t have a digital certificate you can obtain one in step 1.

Step 1: Get a Certificate
If you do not have a locally-held signing certificate, you can request a free one from the Ascertia CA from here. Follow the process until you have successfully created a certificate and then return to this demo.

Step 2: Fill in a demo form, which you will later sign
Your Name:

Note: The first time this demo
runs it does a little bit slower!

The signing is done by a signed Java
Applet which is downloaded from the
demo web-site and is then cached.
The next run of this demo is much
faster since the demo is already in
  cache.

Notes
The advantage of this solution is that any type of web form can be signed by first converting it to a PDF form, and then signing it using locally-held keys (smartcard/token or soft signing keys).
The web form can be in any language.
In this demo we also apply a company signature before asking the user to apply a counter signature. The order of signing is fully configurable.
Signatures’s can be applied within specific blank signature fields or stamped anywhere on the document, depending on business need.
The signature appearance is fully configurable and can also support multiple languages.
If a strong user-authentication is required but you do not wish to deploy keys in the shape of smartcards or tokens to your users, then consider using GrIDsure. See the GrIDsure signing demo here. This demo uses unique user signing keys held on the server, with strong authentication of the user using GrIDsure technology.
